Among the various specializations in photography is Nature Photography. Nature Photography comprises of an assortment of scopes, since there are varied and different facets of nature. The domain of Nature Photography is so dynamic that landscape,wildlife,plants,and all the sights and patterns related with them are covered in its scope. Often, we do not include more people in the pictures that are associated with Nature Photography, though it is not compulsory that people are completely excluded from these pictures. Landscape

Landscape pictures require the nature photographer to capture a vast area of land, which has a special quality, unique and distinct from other landforms. It is used extensively in the beautiful and scenic pictures of extensive plains, the hills, peculiar land formations and many other distinctive scenes. Within Nature Photograpy, this category is best suited for representing the various land formations. Land formations may range from plains and mountains to caves and sea structures.

Wildlife

This exciting field of Nature Photography involves shooting the animals in motion. Your shots can include the different animals while they are eating, flying, fighting , or making some movement or the other. Professionals in this field are limited in their number and hence difficult to get by. They generally need to use advanced photographic equipments. Camouflage tent or screen may be used to attract the animals to behave naturally,by forgetting the human presence in that area. Apart from this, this field of Nature Photography doesn't happen to miss on the wildlife sauntering around either.

Both these aspects may sometimes be combined within Nature Photography, to produce a photograph. Many subjects in Nature Photgraphy focus on a landscape, along with the wildlife which is peculiar to that vicinity. Landscape and wildlife photography require the use of wide angle lens rather than macro lens, which are preferrable for capturing small-sized aspects of nature, with pin-pointed details. Macro lenses find use in close up ranges in Natural Photography. The best aspect of Nature Photography is that it assumes wide variety and varied ranges, which inspires the photographers to explore the array of possibilities available to them.
